An English conspiracy theorist claims that the 2012 London Olympics’ opening ceremony was a secret satanic ritual.

David Icke insists that the spectacular opening ceremony was actually a “mass satanic ritual disguised as a celebration of Britain and sport.” The Olympic bell was an example he gave to support his conspiracy theory. He explained that the bell’s frequency could be heard by a group of Satanists who secretly rule the world, triggering satanic vibrations.

On his website, Icke also asserts that the date of the opening ceremony, July 27, was a key day in the devil worship calendar. On the “Satanic Ritual Calendar,” July 20 to 26 is a period of abduction, the time to prepare a sacrificial victim for the Grand Climax, which is July 27.

Icke has also claimed in the past that Princess Diana had an interview saying that royals don’t die but are “metamorphosed” by rebuilding flesh. He also believes that the Satanists are shape-shifting lizards, descended from a reptile race from the Drago constellation.
