Quantum Energy Co. manufactures quilts, pads, pillow sets and other fabric-related products. But it is no ordinary textile firm: The Gyeonggi Province-based company aims to pioneer a new market with a substance that it claims generates quantum energy.

The company has developed powder and cream-type substances by grinding the natural ore called Five-Colored Earth, mixing it with water and ripening the mix. The new material created through the process generates quantum energy.

The company has developed “Quantum Energy R radiating material powder,” or simply “nano powder.”

The company also succeeded in applying the new material to synthesized fiber, clothing and cosmetics, and commercializing the related products. The quantum energy generating powder can be used for producing heat, removing odors, controlling humidity and treating wounds. The firm added that the advanced material, which is naturally environment-friendly and energy-efficient at the same time, can be applied in the medical sector. The company presented clinical test results.

Company CEO Lee Jong-doo has researched to develop the material generated Quantum Energy for a long time. He amalgamated the material generating Quantum Energy with raw materials manufacturing fiber, cloth and synthetic textiles chemicals, then he developed new amalgamation fiber and the synthetic resins chemical manufacturing technology then he opened the technology in the world.

The company obtained the results of clinical experiments on the effects of the new material conducted by a team from Seoul National University and a research group.

It said the team confirmed that the substance helped maintain a normal immunity in mice whose immunity was overactivated or diminished.

Another effect is that wearing clothing containing nano powder or covering the body with a blanket with nano powder can invigorate people’s red blood cells and decrease impurities in the blood.

The company has made substantial profit over the years, exporting clothes containing the processed nano powder to China and Japan. These clothes cost about 50 million won per yard.

The company added that, with quantum energy winning a global award in Geneva, Switzerland for new technology and advanced material development, other major firms are after the commercialization of quantum energy.

It also secured a foothold in advancing into China by agreeing to cooperate with China’s No.1 textile company ― Jiangsu Yueda Textile Group last year. For more information, visit http:// quantumenergy.co.kr (AD)
