Seoul Global Center will host the 2017 International Start-ups Business Fair at Seoul Business Agency in Mapo, Seoul, Thursday.

At the fair, 12 start-up companies ran by expat entrepreneurs who come from 11 different countries, will present their business in front of investors, city officials and fellow entrepreneurs.

The fair’s organizer Seoul Global Center offers incubation support for expats who seek to start a business in Korea.

“It is realistically difficult for expat entrepreneurs like us to network with Korean companies and promote our business. But actually, one collaboration with a Korean company led to another project in Korea.” said Milla Niskakoski, co-founder of Almond Studio Seoul which is one of the participating companies at the fair. Almond Studio Seoul took part in SGC’s incubation support program and launched its business in February.

“We seek to help expat entrepreneurs make their way into the Korean market, by providing opportunities to promote their novel business ideas,” said Ko Kyung-hee, an official from SGC.
